Do you provide forensic evaluations for asylum cases?

Yes. Dr. Bonafina provides forensic psychological evaluations for asylum and immigration matters involving trauma, persecution, torture, and related psychological symptoms.

Do you provide disability evaluations?

Yes. Dr. Bonafina provides psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for disability-related questions, including cognitive, emotional, and functional limitations.

Do you evaluate traumatic brain injury?

Yes. Dr. Bonafina provides forensic neuropsychological evaluations for TBI-related legal, disability, and personal injury matters.

Do you treat PNES and FND?

Yes. Dr. Bonafina provides specialized psychotherapy for PNES and other Functional Neurological Disorder presentations, including PPPD, functional dizziness, balance difficulties, sensory symptoms, gait changes, and related brain-body regulation difficulties.

Do you offer bilingual evaluations?

Yes. Dr. Bonafina provides bilingual Spanish-English and culturally informed evaluations, with attention to language dominance, cultural context, and appropriate test interpretation.

Do you accept insurance?

Dr. Bonafina is an out-of-network provider. Patients may receive invoices or superbills to submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on their plan.

 

 

PAYMENT, BILLING AND INVOICE, CANCELLATION POLICY

 

 Credit/Debit Cards, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) are acceptable forms of payment.

 

You will be expected to pay at the time of each session. 

 

An invoice and billing statement will be provided to you at the end of each month.

 

You can request an invoice any time you need one.

 

   You will be billed for the session if you provide less than 24 hours notice.  This includes missed sessions.

INSURANCE

​

Dr. Bonafina is an out-of-network provider. Many insurance companies cover 50-80% of a provider’s fee, once your deductible is met. This means sessions may be covered partially or fully by your health insurance. The amount covered by your provider will vary based on your plan. You will be provided with a detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
